On 12 July 2024, WAR was declared in Pooraka...

Mike & James are our names! Father and son, we are Co-Owners of the W.A.R. Slot Car Raceway. 

We are the BIGGEST slot car raceway in Australia with 8 tracks (40 lanes) and a 21.5m 1/24 scale drag strip (2 lanes), and are the ONLY specialists in competitive slot car racing in South Australia.

Mike has been a slot car fanatic for over 50 years! He lives and breathes slot cars... some would call him an expert 😆 

He has years of experience in running slot car racing groups from our suburban garage, and has expanded this dream with YOU with the establishment of our beloved Raceway!

Monday Closed (Open for group bookings only)
Tuesday Closed (Open for group bookings only)
Wednesday 2pm - 9pm
Thursday 12pm - 9pm
Friday 12pm - 9pm
Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 11am - 4pm

 

  • Hot weather policy - if the temperature is 38 degrees or above, the Raceway may open for limited hours or be closed. Keep an eye on our Facebook/Instagram pages.
  • The Raceway may close up to an hour early if it is quiet or Mike/James have other obligations. Feel free to contact us to check if we're open.
