Co-Owners Mike & James invite you to race at W.A.R. Slot Car Raceway! 😃
There are 3 types of racing at W.A.R.:
- Casual walk-in
- Competitive racing
- Events (group bookings)

1. Casual Walk-in Racing
Bring the whole family for some slot car fun at W.A.R.!!!
- The track hire fee includes hiring a car and controller.
- This DOES NOT include swapping the hire car(s) unless it is not working sufficiently, which is determined by Mike or James.
- As these cars are frequently used by casual racers, the best experience will always be with your own cars 🙂
- 6 or more people - strongly advised to book as we are generally very busy and do not want to disappoint you! See Section 3 Events.

- Hot weather policy - if the temperature is 38 degrees or above, the Raceway may open for limited hours or be closed. Keep an eye on our Facebook/Instagram pages.
- The Raceway may close up to an hour early if it is quiet or Mike/James have other obligations. Check our website home page, Facebook, or contact us to check if we're open.
- We accept cash, card or bank deposit (for group bookings).
- WE DO NOT CHARGE A SURCHAGE FOR EFTPOS!!!! We are happy to absorb this cost because we are generous and genuinely care about creating a sustainable future for slot car racing.
2. Competitive Racing
Racing is held weekly per the below timetable. Please check out Events on our Facebook page for the most current timetable.
Carrera Thursday and Junior Sunday are designed to be fun, social and accessible racing for everyone no matter their skill level. Carrera cars are great value and very resilient, so they are perfect to race against each other!

3. Events
- Birthday parties (for young & old kids of all ages 😄)
- Any other group events such as corporate, organisation, club events
Includes:
- 2 hours of fun! Racing + use of the party room (if requested)
- Exclusive racing on the 8-lane W.A.R. track
- All equipment (cars and controllers) supplied
- Exclusive use of the party room (if requested) including air fryer, microwave, freezer and fridge
- Food supplied by the Raceway is available: toasted cheese sandwiches and gourmet pies, pasties and sausage rolls.
- Air-conditioned facility

Generally ages 5+ however the prime factor is parental supervision 😁
Terms:
- 2 hours exclusive use of the 8-lane WAR track and party room (if requested)
- $200 non-refundable deposit required upfront via bank transfer, card or cash to book the 8-lane WAR track
- $25 per person for more than 8 racers (i.e. total cost for 10 racers it is $200 + $25 + $25 = $250)
- The fee includes hiring slot cars and controllers
- Total number of racers to be counted, and balance to be paid on the day via cash/card

Booking times: any 2 hour period within the following hours:
- Wednesday: 2pm - 7pm
- Thursday: 12pm - 7pm
- Friday: 12pm - 5pm
- Saturday: 10am - 5pm
- Sunday: 11am - 4pm
