BRM037-K2 Ferrari 512M Full White Kit – New Pre-Assembled Aluminium Racing Chassis

The BRM037-K2 is BRM's 1/24 scale Ferrari 512M full white kit, supplied with the updated pre-assembled aluminium racing chassis. It is designed for builders who want to paint and finish their own Ferrari 512M while retaining the complete BRM racing chassis and running gear.

The Ferrari 512M was the 1971 evolution of Ferrari's 512S endurance racer, developed for the World Sportscar Championship and created to challenge the Porsche 917. This BRM kit is intentionally supplied without a race livery, allowing the modeller to create their own version.

The updated chassis uses BRM's T-RS Evo 25,000 rpm long-can motor, anglewinder transmission, 3 mm steel axles, flanged ball bearings, aluminium wheels, floating aluminium Y-plate and BRM's Fast Opening System.

Ferrari 512M

The Ferrari 512M was introduced for the 1971 endurance racing season as the substantially revised version of the Ferrari 512S. The 5.0-litre V12-powered car featured extensive aerodynamic and bodywork revisions and was Ferrari's principal challenger to the Porsche 917.

The BRM037-K2 does not represent a particular race entry or driver because it is a full white kit. The unpainted body allows the modeller to choose their own livery and race specification.

Important: This is a white-kit model intended for painting and finishing. The racing chassis is pre-assembled, but the body requires the modeller's own finishing work.
