Scalextric C4341 Ford RS200 Police Edition – Essex Police
The Scalextric C4341 is a highly detailed 1/32 scale replica of the famous Ford RS200 Police Edition, finished in the distinctive white, yellow and blue Essex Police promotional livery.
Although this particular RS200 was never actually used as an operational Essex Police vehicle, the full police livery was applied to the real car for promotional and publicity appearances. Scalextric reproduces it with working headlights, rear lights and a flashing roof light, along with Magnatraction and easy-change pick-ups.
The Real Ford RS200 Police Car
The Ford RS200 was Ford's purpose-built Group B rally car, developed by Ford Motorsport for the 1980s World Rally Championship. The police-liveried example represented by C4341 was used for promotional shoots rather than operational police duties.
The distinctive Essex Police colour scheme makes this an unusual addition to a Ford RS200 or police-themed Scalextric collection.
