Relive one of the early Formula 1 appearances of future three-time World Champion Nelson Piquet with the Scalextric C4308 McLaren M23 #29, representing the McLaren M23 he drove for BS Fabrications at the 1978 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.
This highly detailed 1/32 scale analogue slot car features Scalextric's Magnatraction system, easy-change pick-ups and a classic late-1970s Formula 1 configuration. Nelson Piquet – McLaren M23 #29
Piquet qualified 26th for the 1978 Dutch Grand Prix in the BS Fabrications McLaren M23 and retired after 16 laps with a transmission failure. The race result records the car as chassis M23/11, powered by a Ford Cosworth DFV V8.
