The MR Slotcar MR1085 is a highly detailed 1/32 scale replica of the Jaguar XJ220C #23 entered by Chamberlain Engineering in the 1996 BPR Global GT Series at Silverstone, finished in its distinctive ACC Talk Radio livery.
Built as a performance-oriented MR Slotcar, the MR1085 features an anglewinder drivetrain, Slot.it Flat-6 motor, adjustable front axle ride height, four-point body levelling, machined bronze axle bushings, set-screw aluminium wheels and a tuneable spring-suspended motor pod.
The Real Car – Silverstone 1996
The full-size Jaguar XJ220C #23 was entered by Chamberlain Engineering for the 1996 BPR Global GT Series at Silverstone. The entry was driven by Geoff Lister and Nick Adams and carried the ACC Talk Radio sponsorship. The car did not finish the event.
