The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB is one of the defining sports cars of the early 1960s. The "SWB" designation refers to Ferrari's short-wheelbase 250 GT, developed to provide a more responsive and competition-focused chassis than the longer-wheelbase cars that preceded it.

As supplied, the MR1522 is an analog slot car. Digital conversion is possible using an appropriate third-party conversion system, but the car is supplied for conventional analog operation.
