The Pioneer MT202602 Typhoon is an 18,000 RPM replacement motor for 1/32 scale slot cars. This FC-130-size short-can motor features a single-ended 2 mm plain shaft and delivers smooth, controllable power for home and club racing.

Previously sold under product code 260-P, the MT202602 is suited to racers looking for a standard-speed replacement motor with responsive acceleration and useful braking characteristics. Its operating voltage range of approximately 10–16 V DC makes it suitable for a variety of analogue slot car setups.

18,000 RPM Typhoon Performance

Rated at 18,000 RPM at 12 V DC, the Typhoon prioritises manageable power delivery over extreme motor speed. It is a practical choice for home circuits and layouts where smooth control, cornering consistency and braking response matter as much as outright speed.

Plain Shaft – Pinion Compatibility

The motor has a 2 mm plain shaft at the endbell end. It requires a compatible press-on brass or aluminium pinion. Do not use press-on plastic pinions intended for splined motor shafts.
