Competition Chassis

The RS0298 is built around RevoSlot's adjustable floating aluminium chassis rather than a conventional plastic chassis. The 3 mm calibrated steel axles run in ball bearings, while the aluminium wheels are secured with M3 screws. The anglewinder drivetrain uses 12:33 gearing and a 21,000 rpm motor, giving the model a mechanical specification aimed at serious club racing as well as collecting.

Magnet & Digital Information

The RS0298 is supplied as an analogue RevoSlot car. The traction magnet is optional rather than factory-fitted, allowing the car to be run in a more competition-oriented non-magnet configuration.

The car can be converted to digital operation, but a decoder is not factory-fitted. Digital conversion requires modification rather than being a simple plug-and-play installation.

The K8 was based on Porsche 962 technology and was developed by Kremer for the revised prototype regulations of the period. The distinctive Gulf-liveried car was prepared for Le Mans with Bell returning to the event after a year away from racing. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
