The RevoSlot RS0299 Porsche Kremer K8 Repsol #5 is a highly detailed (1/32) scale reproduction of the Kremer Racing Porsche K8 Spyder that competed at the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans. Finished in the distinctive white and Repsol/Hawaiian Tropic livery, this model combines RevoSlot's detailed bodywork with a precision aluminium racing chassis and BRM-quality mechanical components.
The RS0299 uses a 21,000 RPM short-can motor in anglewinder configuration, 12:33 gearing, calibrated 3mm steel axles, aluminium wheels and ball bearings. The floating aluminium chassis is adjustable, making this a serious racing-oriented slot car rather than simply a display model.

Racing & Mechanical Setup
The RS0299 is built around RevoSlot's adjustable aluminium chassis system. The floating chassis allows the body and chassis movement to be tuned for different track conditions, while the aluminium motor and axle holders, calibrated 3mm steel axles and ball bearings provide a strong mechanical platform for club-level racing.
The standard 12:33 anglewinder transmission combines the RS212 12-tooth pinion with the S-419 33-tooth nylon spur gear. The car uses rear-wheel drive and does not have lights fitted.
The car is supplied as an analogue slot car. RevoSlot-compatible digital conversions are possible, but digital conversion requires installation work rather than being a plug-and-play factory installation.
The Real Car – 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans
The real #5 Kremer K8 Spyder was entered by Kremer Racing for the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was driven by Tomás Saldaña, Carl Rosenblad and Jürgen Lässig.
The car qualified 15th on the grid with a 3:55.981 lap. Unfortunately, the #5 K8 did not finish the race, retiring with an engine failure after completing 103 laps.
Limited Edition Status
The RS0299 is a standard RevoSlot production model. I have found no verified manufacturer production quantity identifying it as a numbered limited edition, so no arbitrary production figure is stated.
