Competition-Oriented Chassis

The RS0300 uses RevoSlot's floating aluminium chassis architecture, with the chassis mass positioned low and the body allowed to work independently from the chassis. The anglewinder drivetrain combines the RS211 21,000 rpm motor, RS212 12-tooth pinion and BRM S-419 33-tooth crown gear.

Calibrated 3 mm steel axles run through ball bearings and aluminium axle holders, while the aluminium wheels are secured using M3 screws. The car is supplied with dedicated RevoSlot front and rear rubber tyres and a 7 mm guide system.

Magnet & Digital Information

The RS0300 is supplied as an analogue RevoSlot car with no traction magnet fitted. An optional magnet is supplied separately. The rear wing is separately attached by magnet as part of the model's body construction.

The car can be converted to digital operation. Carrera DIGITAL 132 conversion is listed with decoder 20026732, while Slot.it SP15c1 is listed for Scalextric Digital. Digital conversion requires modification and is not plug-and-play.

Real Racing Background

The real Kremer Racing Porsche K8 #10 won the 1995 24 Hours of Daytona outright. Giovanni Lavaggi, Jürgen Lässig, Christophe Bouchut and Marco Werner shared driving duties, completing 690 laps to finish five laps ahead of the second-placed Spice BDG-02.

The victory was particularly significant for Kremer Racing because the K8 overcame a difficult pre-race situation involving changes to the regulations governing turbocharged cars. Despite being expected to be uncompetitive, the Kremer K8 ran reliably throughout the race and secured one of the team's major international endurance victories.
