The Scaleauto SC-0009B TECH-1 is a high-performance S-Can motor designed for competitive (1/32) scale slot car racing. Producing 25,000 RPM at 12V with 225g·cm of torque, it uses a standard Mabuchi-style short-can format and a dual-shaft design, allowing it to be used in both inline and sidewinder applications.

With a compact 25 × 20 × 15mm body, 2mm shafts at both ends and a low magnetic effect, the SC-0009B is a versatile upgrade motor for a wide range of competition and club-racing applications.

Inline or Sidewinder Applications

The dual-shaft design is one of the SC-0009B's useful features. Unlike a single-ended motor, the shaft protrudes from both ends of the motor, allowing the motor to be configured for both inline and sidewinder slot car applications where the chassis accepts a standard Mabuchi-style S-Can motor.

The motor's 25,000 RPM output and 225g·cm torque provide a strong balance between speed and usable torque for competition-oriented (1/32) slot cars.

Important Installation Information

The SC-0009B is supplied as a bare motor without a pinion. The appropriate pinion must be selected separately according to the chassis, motor position and desired gear ratio. Check the required pinion shaft position and tooth count before installation.

Because this is a standard S-Can format motor, compatibility ultimately depends on the motor mount used by the individual slot car. Always check the chassis and motor-pod specifications before purchasing.
