Scaleauto SC-1513 Self-Adhesive Lead Ballast is a precision chassis-weighting material designed for tuning the handling and balance of slot cars. The sheet measures 100 × 50mm with a 2mm thickness and features an adhesive backing for secure placement inside the chassis.
The SC-1513 can be cut into smaller sections and positioned where required, allowing racers to fine-tune front-to-rear weight distribution and chassis behaviour without using loose ballast.

Slot Car Chassis Weight Tuning
Chassis ballast can be used to alter a slot car's weight distribution and handling characteristics. The SC-1513 can be cut into smaller pieces and positioned in different areas of the chassis to adjust balance and help optimise a car for a particular circuit or driving style.
The 2mm thickness makes SC-1513 the thickest of Scaleauto's four adhesive ballast-sheet variants from this range: SC-1510 (1.5mm), SC-1511 (1mm), SC-1512 (0.5mm) and SC-1513 (2mm).
Compatibility
The SC-1513 is a general-purpose tuning accessory rather than a model-specific replacement part. It can be used wherever additional chassis ballast is required and sufficient space is available.
