Relive one of Formula 1's most dramatic seasons with the Scaleauto SC-6343 McLaren MP4/10 #8, replicating Mika Häkkinen's Marlboro McLaren Mercedes from 1995 - his first year paired with Mercedes power. Häkkinen scored his maiden F1 podium with 2nd at the Italian Grand Prix, backed it up with another 2nd in Japan, and looked set to close out the year strongly heading into the season-ending Australian Grand Prix at Adelaide. Instead, qualifying there brought his darkest day: a sudden left-rear tyre failure sent his MP4/10 into the wall at around 200km/h, and trackside medics performed an emergency tracheotomy to save his life. Häkkinen made a full recovery and returned to the cockpit for round one of 1996 - fittingly, also in Australia - before going on to claim back-to-back World Championships with McLaren in 1998 and 1999.

Configured with an inline motor layout, the model is built with an ultra-thin 0.65mm body shell, height-adjustable front axles, reinforced chassis ribs, and an optional 6-position suspension system for the motor mount, giving racers fine control over handling balance.
