The Scalextric C4612A Colin McRae Triple Car Pack celebrates one of rallying's most iconic drivers with three 1:32 scale rally cars representing important stages of Colin McRae's remarkable career.
This is a numbered Limited Edition of only 2,000 sets worldwide, making the C4612A an especially desirable collector's release. Each presentation box contains three Colin McRae rally cars: a Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth #27, MG Metro 6R4 #3 and Subaru Impreza WRX #1.
All three cars feature four-wheel drive, Magnatraction, working front and rear lights and Digital Plug Ready (DPR) technology. The set also includes six spare guide blades.
The Three Colin McRae Cars
Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth #27
The Sierra represents an important part of Colin McRae's early rally career and the spectacular high-powered Group A era. The C4612A reproduces the Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth in McRae's white and blue livery with race number 27.
MG Metro 6R4 #3
The distinctive MG Metro 6R4 represents another iconic rally machine associated with McRae. Its compact four-wheel-drive layout and aggressive wide-bodied appearance make the Metro one of the most recognisable rally cars of its generation.
Subaru Impreza WRX #1
The Subaru represents the period in which McRae became a World Rally Championship legend. He won the 1995 WRC Drivers' Championship with Subaru, becoming the youngest World Rally Champion at the time.
Important: the C4612A model carries race number #1. It should not be described as the literal #4 Subaru that McRae drove to the 1995 RAC Rally victory; the model represents McRae's championship-winning Subaru era.
